Foldables in the Classroom

One attends a TESOL conference to gain a totally new idea; the most current of methodologies. For me the new strategy is Foldables.  Graphic Organizers are now 3-D and to great affect.  Gail Rogers presented numerous examples of teacher creations and student work.  She was convincing that Foldables are useful in all content areas and for multiple grades.  Gail gracefully handled all portions of her presentation. I can envision my students benefitting from creating Foldables of irregular verbs.  Once a student exclaimed: "I like your class, but I hate the irregular verb quizzes."  I now have an idea to extend vocabulary in more meaningful ways.
